Dear Nadine;
I am an avid reader of Norman Finkelstein's work. He has written against the Israeli war machinery, himself the son of Nazi camp survivors, and paid heavily for it in the US. His conversation was objective, eloquent and carried weight for the side that has nver spoken or when speaking was unheard. I encourage anyone who wants to learn of the Middle East to read his learned works and fathom the power of well researched and documented arguments. He has done more to the just cause of Arabs than most Arabs. Moreover, his work has refuted many standing decorums that, alas,arabs failed to address. He stood alone against a frantically baiused media in the midst of one ofnthe hotbeds of Israeli support and survived. he stood for something. how amny of us could claim that and act upon it.
